Hess Appoints Michael Turner as Senior Vice President of Global Production

Hess Corporation announces that Michael R. Turner has been named Senior Vice President, Global Production, with responsibility for Europe and Asia.
Turner, 49, joins Hess from Shell. In his 28 year career with Shell, Turner held leadership positions in a range of U.S. and international production operations, including most recently its U.K. North Sea assets. Throughout his career, he delivered significant improvements in safety, reliability, well and reservoir management, and technical integrity. He is also a recognized expert in applying lean manufacturing techniques to deliver improved performance to oilfield development and operations.

Turner will succeed George Sandison, who becomes Senior Vice President - Global E&P Services, with responsibility for Global Drilling, Supply Chain, and Environment, Health & Safety and Social Responsibility.
