Gazprom Increases Stake in Sibir Energy

Sibir Energy was notified on 17 June 2009 that following the recent acquisition of shares, Open Joint Stock Company “Gazprom Neft” is now interested in 129,681,632 ordinary 10p shares (“Ordinary Shares”), representing an interest of approximately 33.55 per cent. of the Company’s entire issued Ordinary Shares.
