Fugro-Jason, the leader in reservoir characterization technology, today announced the opening of a new office in Bogota, Colombia. This office will support on-going and future projects throughout the country. Fugro-Jason has been operating in South America for more than 10 years.

'By opening an office in Bogota we can work more closely with our clients in Colombia,' said Jesus Bilbao, South America Region Manager. 'The business climate in Colombia is very strong right now.'

The office will support sales and project services throughout Colombia. The Fugro-Jason software suite includes the Jason Geoscience Workbench® (JGW), PowerLog® and EarthModel® FT. Together these products enable Seismic to Simulation studies that support reservoir evaluation, future production forecasts and alternative field management strategies. The reservoir consultancy group provides a full range of services, from reservoir characterization studies to full integrated seismic to simulation studies.
