Bayou Bend Petroleum Ltd. announces that it is continuing its review and consideration of several potential projects within the resource sector, an activity that has been ongoing since the date of the sale of substantially all of the Company’s U.S. oil and gas properties in May 2009.

Although it has not yet concluded any transactions, the Company is currently involved in negotiations in respect of a specific potential transaction and believes that it is well positioned to pursue and conclude this, or other possible opportunities in this sector.
