Aurelian Oil & Gas Appoints Non Executive Director

Aurelian Oil & Gas PLC announces, as indicated in the Placing Circular released on 18 May 2009, that Mr Nicholas Coats has joined the Board of Aurelian as a Non Executive Director with effect from 19 June 2009.

Mr Coats was recommended for appointment by Lord Sainsbury of Preston Candover KG who holds a 19.65 % interest in the Company.
