Alaska National Petroleum Reserve 2010 Lease Sale results

In August 2010, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Alaska announced the results of the 2010 Lease Sale in the eastern portion of the National Petroleum Reserve. Of the 190 tracts offered in the sale, only five received bids, which represented an area of roughly 28,444 acres out of a possible 1.8 million acres offered in the sale.
