Capex

During this period, Amadeus drilled 31 exploration and development wells across various projects located within Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Kansas. Amadeus has identified new targets within Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Kansas which will be aggressively pursued in the next financial year and beyond. The outlook is to drill a further 25 wells utilising an estimated total budget in excess of US$20 million over the next 12 months. This reinforces the company’s overall strategy to drive shareholder value by increasing production and cash flow through their many exploration opportunities.

Production

Attributable oil production was up 2% to 260,550 barrels (bbls), gas production up 15% to 701,252 mcf in the six month period to December 31, 2007

The financial year to 20th June 2007 was a record one for Amadeus’ production volumes with an increase of oil by 23% to 591,328 BO (net after federal, state and land-owner royalties). In addition, gas sales increased by 29% from 1.09 bcf to 1.4 bcf of gas.
