Description
Leni Gas & Oil Plc was incorporated in 2007 to bring together a team of individuals who have wide-ranging skills in the evaluation and exploitation of exploration and production oil and gas assets, asset acquisitions and corporate and financial management.
In April 2007, Leni Gas & Oil signed an agreement with Malta Oil Pty. Limited ("MOL") a subsidiary of Mediterranean Oil & Gas PLC ("MOG") to acquire an initial 20% interest in four oil and gas exploration blocks known as Area 4, located within Maltese waters between Libya and Malta, covering an area in excess of 5,000 km2 with water depths of around 400m.
