Description
TG World Energy Corp. is a Canadian-based junior oil and gas exploration and development company whose assets include TG World Petroleum Limited (TG World), a 100% owned Bahamian subsidiary, and its interest in a Joint Venture formed to explore oil and gas prospects on the Central North Slope, Alaska.
TG World also holds a 20% interest in the Ténéré Block, an oil and gas concession in the Republic of Niger, measuring 71,155 square kilometers (17.3 million acres). The Ténéré Block contains the northern half of the Termit- Ténéré Rift. The southern half lies in the adjacent Agadem Block, where Petronas and Exxon have so far drilled six announced oil discoveries and one gas discovery. CNPC International (Ténéré) Ltd. (CNPCIT), a unit of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), holds the other 80% and is Operator.
