Description
Svenska Petroleum Exploration AB is a private Swedish oil and gas company engaged in offshore exploration and production of oil and gas in fields worldwide. Currently, it has production activities in Angola and the Ivory Coast. The exploration activities are focused on West Africa and the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
Svenska's workforce has a large percentage of geoscience professionals. The organisation is divided functionally into Exploration, Development & Production and Business Support. Management is divided between the operating offices.
The company is a subsidiary of Petroswede, which is indirectly owned by Sheikh Mohammed H. Al-Amoudi, one of the largest private investors in Sweden.
