Description
Sterling Energy plc was formed in October 2002 by the reversal of Sterling Energy Limited into Lepco plc, following which Lepco plc was renamed Sterling Energy plc. The company is listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange.
Sterling has built a portfolio of production assets in the Gulf of Mexico (USA), West Africa, which helps underpin through cashflow an exploration programme predominately in Africa. The company also has interests in Iraq.
