Portland Gas plc is the head of a group of companies dedicated to developing and operating gas storage facilities and gas infrastructure. The company demerged from Egdon Resources Plc on 16th January 2008 and the first day of trading of the new company on the AIM market was the 17th January 2008.
Portland Gas Storage Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Portland Gas plc, will own and operate the Portland facility. Portland Gas NI Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Portland Gas plc, is pursuing the Larne Lough opportunity in Northern Ireland.
