Description
PetroNeft Resources plc is an Irish oil and gas exploration and development company, set up specifically to develop assets in the Tomsk Oblast in Western Siberia. Its main offices are in Houston Texas, Moscow and Ireland, with the main technical operations based in the city of Tomsk.
The main asset of the company is a 100% interest in an approximately 5000sq km oil and gas license in the Tomsk Oblast, held through wholly owned Russian subsidiary, Stimul-T. The License lies over the prolific Western Siberian Oil and Gas Basin and contains approximately 30 million barrels of oil in the P1 and P2 categories, in two previously drilled and tested oil fields, Tungolskoye and Linenoye.
The Board of PetroNeft is made up of highly experienced professionals in the International and Russian Oil and Gas Exploraion and Development business. The Russian Management has extensive local knowledge and experience in the exploration and development of oil and gas fields in the Tomsk Oblast.
