Parex Resources Inc. is an oil and gas exploration company with a portfolio of high impacts prospects advanced through Petro Andina Resources. The Company is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and holds through foreign subsidiaries exploration contracts for four onshore blocks in Colombia and three onshore blocks in Trinidad & Tobago.

The Company joins its capabilities to well capitalized partners that have experienced teams. Parex averages a 50 percent working interest on all blocks held through foreign subsidiaries and is the operator on record; this position gives the Company considerable leverage over capital program costs and timing.

The Company has a portfolio of high impact prospects onshore Trinidad and in the Llanos Basin of Colombia and continues to seek additional growth opportunities. Parex consistently evaluates available opportunities around undeveloped acreage that is exploratory, non-productive but in proximity to existing production, in prolific basins where management and staff have expertise in the geologic potential and the commercial arrangements in place.
