Since its foundation by 17 Mitsui group companies in 1969, Mitsui Oil Exploration Company (MOECO) has been contributing to the stable supply of energy to Japan and the world through exploration and production of oil and natural gas utilizing the integrated strength of the Mitsui group.
MOECO are engaged in exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas in 10 countries. The company consider Southeast Asia as Core Area and USA, Middle East, North Africa and North Sea as Focus Areas.
