Hunt currently operates major production activities in the United States, Canada and Yemen. In addition, the company is playing a critical role in two large-scale gas development projects in Yemen and Peru. The liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Yemen will potentially bring 10 trillion cubic feet of gas reserves that Hunt discovered to world markets while the Camisea project in Peru will develop a gas resource estimated at over 13 trillion cubic feet.
Hunt Oil Company conducts ongoing exploration programs around the globe. In addition to its extensive activities in the United States, the company has exploratory acreage under evaluation in Canada, Yemen, Togo, Oman, Senegal and Namibia. After successfully acquiring a participation in the upstream and downstream segments of the world class Camisea project in Peru, the company is working to significantly expand its exploratory activities in South America, with particular focus on Peru.
