Gippsland Offshore Petroleum Limited was created in December 2004 to explore and test a new hydrocarbon migration and trapping theory on the flanks of the prolific Gippsland Basin, offshore south-east Australia. The company now has an expanded portfolio of exploration projects to include offshore Jamaica, Kenya, Madagascar and France.
