Description
Excelsior Energy Limited is an early stage oil sands exploration and development company with a focus on in situ deposits in the Athabasca oil sands which are located in east-central Alberta. Excelsior is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta and has expertise in heavy oil and oil sands exploration. Excelsior is currently focused on acquiring, appraising and developing bitumen resources.
Excelsior has a working interest in two prospective oil sands leases: Hangingstone and West Surmont. The Hangingstone lease will be the focus of this document, however, Excelsior plans to continue to explore and evaluate the remaining lease for future projects.
